The importance of education is to empower an individual to succeed in the future. Success may be calculated in terms of monetary gains and respect at work. It is the duty of the educationists to support the real facts of life by connecting classroom lectures with real-life experiences. We here at SHA, include personality development lessons, moral and ethical teaching to build real human beings. The education system should be beyond the religion, region and language. Our children grow up to be sensible, sensitive and responsible global citizens.
We, at SHA, try to increase the spirit among the children, by motivating them and providing a positive, vibrant and healthy environment.It is my deepest desire and greatest endeavour that, by the time our students finish their schooling at SKY HEIGHTS ACADEMY, they should have acquired not only academic excellence and professional competence, but also learn social tolerance, compassion and self- discipline.
Childhood is the time to explore new things and nurture the things around them. Today’s children have become so busy that they have forgotten the importance of recreational things in life like playing, reading other journals and books. Although we focus more, on the academic performance of the students we also encourage them to participate in other activities. This results in they having an exposure to the outside world and they become trained and skilled individuals.
Introducing innovative learning methods which reduce the pressure on children is the need of hour. Children should come to school to enjoy their childhood and to learn new things in life. But they should not feel overburdened or pressurized. Some such initiatives are beingtaken to encourage children and to nurture their creativity and innovation.
It is the strength of the four pillars, the Management, Child, Parent and Teachers which can help build a healthy and strong nation.
I appeal to all parents and teachers that they must, no doubt, try hard to motivate their children to do well in studies but together with that, they must also guide and inspire them to become good human beings with compassion and concern for all. Only then can we help to save our society and our country from today’s hatred and mindless violence.
